Main Mission: Automation Standardization
Reporting to the Electrical & Instrumentation design office in Aix-les-Bains, your main mission will be to ensure the Automation Standardization of electrical and instrumentation documentation for our critical Blender and SMB skids. This project is at the heart of our efficiency and quality objectives.
Key Electrical Instrumentation Internship Tasks
Your responsibilities will immerse you in the technical and strategic aspects of Process Automation ABB:
- Technical Analysis: Analyzing customer specifications and validating technical needs in coordination with process teams and project leaders.
- Proposals & Estimates: Preparing technical estimates for Automation Standardization solutions, specifically leveraging new technologies (Profinet, IO-Link, IFM, Turck).
- Documentation Development: Drafting technical proposals based on validated choices and developing, updating, and maintaining standardization sheets for skid wiring.
- Continuous Improvement: Contributing actively to technology watch and continuous process improvement within the Process Automation ABB framework.
- Coordination: Integrating customer constraints and standards into all technical documentation.
Profile Sought
We are looking for proactive team players for this Electrical Instrumentation Internship:
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (4th/5th year) in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel is required.
- Qualities: Proactive, organized, and excellent team player.
