E-Solution is seeking an experienced Automation Tester Freelance to reinforce its Quality and Test department. We need a consultant with a strong functional and automation background, capable of designing, writing, and automating test scenarios, while actively contributing to the validation of application developments. This QA Specialist Casablanca role is critical to our continuous integration and delivery pipeline.
The consultant will work on projects utilizing the Agile / Scrum methodology, collaborating directly with development, product, and Continuous Integration (CI/CD) teams.
Core Missions: Functional and Automation Expertise
As an Automation Tester Freelance, your responsibilities are split across two high-value areas:
1. Functional Expertise:
- Analyze functional requirements and draft corresponding test plans.
- Define and document test scenarios using Xray (integrated into Jira).
- Participate in functional specification reviews and requirement validation.
- Execute manual tests and ensure rigorous anomaly tracking in Jira.
2. Automation & CI/CD Integration:
- Automate recurrent functional test cases using Robot Framework CI/CD.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using the Gherkin language (BDD).
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, primarily via Jenkins.
- Ensure the maintenance and continuous update of the automation repository.
3. Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track testing progress (coverage rate, success rate, anomalies).
- Generate execution reports via Xray and share them with project teams.
- Collaborate closely with development, product, and quality teams to ensure compliance.
Required Profile for the QA Specialist Casablanca Role
This role requires a high level of expertise in Robot Framework CI/CD and methodologies:
- Education: Bac+5 in Computer Science, Software Quality, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years in a similar Automation Tester Freelance role.
- Technical Skills: Mastery of Jira/Xray, Robot Framework, Jenkins, Gherkin (BDD), and functional/regression testing concepts. Knowledge of Python, Selenium, or API testing is a major plus.
- Soft Skills: Rigor, analytical thinking, sense of detail, team spirit, autonomy, and proactivity.
- Languages: Professional French and Technical English.
