We are seeking a proactive and skilled final-year student to join the Information Systems and Telecoms Directorate for a 5- or 6-month internship. You will be fully integrated into the VEGAS team (approximately 20 members), contributing directly to the integrity and quality of our core application ecosystem, INFOLIAISON.
Core Mission: Data Integrity and Automation
Your primary goal will be to ensure the technical reliability of our complex network data. Your responsibilities will focus on:
- Data Coherence Verification: Systematically check the technical consistency and reliability of data across platforms.
- SQL Script Development: Design and implement robust SQL scripts to automate critical integrity controls within the main application tables of the INFOLIAISON ecosystem.
- Documentation: Maintain and update all associated technical documentation related to data control processes.
- Data Quality Monitoring: Conceptualize, build, and maintain a data quality monitoring dashboard to provide clear visibility on key indicators.
Candidate Profile: Technical Expertise and Rigor
This role is ideal for a student in the final year of an Engineering school or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Required Technical Skills:
- Proven ability to write complex SQL queries for data analysis and auditing (experience with Oracle SQL is a plus).
- Experience in scripting and automation using SQL and Python.
- Familiarity with Java environments is highly desirable.
